About
Sound Doctrine is a Sydney based music blog dedicated to bringing subjectively obscure but objectively awesome Australian music to dependable, everyday folk. It was birthed into existence by Tommy Faith in March 2010 and has since grown to be the internet’s most disrespected music blog. In June 2012, Sound Doctrine was awarded Pedestrian.tv’s Best Australian Music Blog as part of an elaborate, decade long interactive art prank. I’m also the Executive producer of triple j Unearthed and you can find me on twitter and instagram.
I don’t take music submissions. This isn’t a business and it sure as heck isn’t music journalism. This are just some bands and songs I like, nothing more than that.
Very importantly, you should listen to the Sound Doctrine Official Theme Song:
‘tommy also knows how to arrange words so that they not only make sense, but they make entertainment.’ – Sam Manchester, Sydney Morning Herald.
